Anatoly Fedorovich Koni (1844-1927) – a man who more than anyone in our history made for the development of civil society in Russia. Being an outstanding orator, theoretician and practitioner of law, he took an active part in the transformation of the judicial system in the reign of Alexander II and his successors. The horses knew many of the "fathers and children" of the judicial reform, which is dedicated to real memories. This book is not only interesting from a historical point of view, its relevance is unquestionable in our days, when the Russian society solves essentially the same problem that stood in front of A. F. Koni and his associates.
